This highly technical role focuses on the design, selection, and application of valve and actuation systems, providing engineering support and mentoring to the sales team to enhance technical capabilities and customer support effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Selecting, sizing, and configuring valves and actuators for customer applications
Interpreting process conditions and matching them to appropriate valve/actuator solutions
Partnering closely with inside and outside sales teams to support opportunities
Reviewing customer specifications and helping develop accurate, optimized quotes
Using ERP/CRM tools to input, track, and manage technical requests or quotes
Preparing technical documentation, configuration details, and proposal support

Required

Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent, and two to five years of relevant experience
0-3 years relevant experience

Preferred

Experience with ERP's, CRM's or related systems such as sales software packages
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to present convincingly at a respectable level
Organized with superior time management skills
Ability to learn ECI products and services; mechanical aptitude or technical aptitude a plus
