R&D Engineering Intern, Shockwave

Responsibilities

Experimentation with candidate tests and fixtures in the R&D lab
Learn the basics of the Shockwave Medical testing
Perform data collection and analyses
Document results using Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Execute technical protocols and reports
Other duties as assigned

Required

Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, Materials or Electrical Engineering, or related fields
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework
Basic knowledge of electronics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint is required
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Operate as a team or independently with management guidance
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future

Preferred

Proficiency in Solidworks or CAD is highly desirable
