Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing in support of product development, including:
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
ELISA
Other relevant assays as required
Execute IHC workflows and handle FFPE samples
Operate and support autostaining platforms (Ventana Benchmark experience preferred)
Perform laboratory housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and calibration
Complete GDP-compliant documentation and maintain accurate laboratory records
Assist with preparation and maintenance of Design History Files (DHF) for new and existing products
Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, ISO 13485, QSR, and other applicable quality and regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with R&D scientists and cross-functional teams
Perform assigned tasks under the supervision of the R&D Manager

Required

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences OR Minimum of 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience
Hands-on experience with Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
FFPE sample handling
Laboratory documentation and GDP compliance
Equipment calibration and maintenance
Perform laboratory testing in support of product development, including: Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA, Other relevant assays as required
Execute IHC workflows and handle FFPE samples
Perform laboratory housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and calibration
Complete GDP-compliant documentation and maintain accurate laboratory records
Assist with preparation and maintenance of Design History Files (DHF) for new and existing products
Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, ISO 13485, QSR, and other applicable quality and regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with R&D scientists and cross-functional teams
Perform assigned tasks under the supervision of the R&D Manager
Hands-on lab technician with strong IHC experience
Comfortable working in a regulated R&D laboratory
Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple experiments simultaneously
Local to St. Louis and able to commit to 100% onsite work

Preferred

ELISA
Experience with autostaining platforms (Ventana Benchmark or similar)
Knowledge of FDA QSR and ISO 13485
Experience in IVD, Molecular Diagnostics, or Medical Device R&D environments
