Few - Digital Product Agency is seeking a Senior WordPress Developer to develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites and custom CMS solutions. The role involves collaborating with design and development teams, performing code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities

Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability

Use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible and user-friendly CMS modules

Few builds all ACF modules in PHP using the Stout Logic Builder

Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect WordPress themes

Participate in sprint planning, ticket estimation, and Agile development processes

Perform code reviews to ensure best practices, code quality, and maintainability

Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth website functionality

Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies

Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Qualification

Required

Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS)

Extensive experience with theme development and customization

Advanced knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and custom CMS module creation

Experience working with Figma or similar design tools to implement designs into WordPress

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and ticket management

Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and web standards

Strong Understand of Component Based Development

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows

Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Have the ability to work on multiple projects at once

You have a willingness to learn new technologies as the industry changes

Preferred

Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms

Familiarity with REST API and headless WordPress architectures

Experience with React JS

Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)

Experience working on projects in an Agency Environment

You are comfortable both giving and receiving feedback

You're able to manage and track time responsibly
