Responsibilities
Execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile (iOS/Android), and API-based applications
Validate new features, bug fixes, and releases against documented requirements and acceptance criteria
Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and regression test suites under the guidance of the QA Team Lead
Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and integration testing
Identify, reproduce, and clearly document defects, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, logs, and environment details
Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify expected behavior and verify fixes
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness activities
Contribute to automated test coverage by writing tests within established frameworks
Help ensure quality standards and testing best practices defined by the QA Lead are followed across all projects
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in a QA, software testing, or quality engineering role
Hands-on experience testing web applications and APIs
Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)
Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Postman, or similar
An understanding of software testing methodologies (regression, smoke, UAT, exploratory, etc.)
Basic experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for validating data
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or another scripting language for test automation or data validation
Experience with Git and version control workflows (Bitbucket, GitHub, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and QA leadership
Preferred
Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Experience testing multi-tenant SaaS platforms or enterprise B2B applications
Experience with Page Object Model or similar test design patterns
