3+ years expPERCENTCHASE HIRECRUITERS is currently seeking a Security Analyst II to support network security operations across manufacturing and IT administration environments. The role involves configuring and managing firewalls, monitoring security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto NGFWs, including security policies, NAT, App-ID, User-ID, threat prevention profiles, IDS/IPS, and GlobalProtect (Always-On VPN, SASE concepts)
Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ASA, Firepower, and FTD devices, including ACLs, VPNs, and IDS/IPS
Perform regular firewall rule reviews, cleanup, and optimization
Monitor firewall logs and network security alerts using Panorama, Cisco FMC, SIEM tools, and packet capture utilities
Investigate and remediate network security incidents in coordination with SOC or IR teams
Perform security event correlation, escalation, and follow established SOPs
Support secure connectivity across data centers, branch locations, cloud environments, and remote access
Troubleshoot Layer 2/3 issues related to routing, switching, VPN tunnels, and firewall connectivity
Assist with secure network architecture deployments, migrations, and cloud integrations
Maintain accurate documentation for firewall configurations, network diagrams, and procedures
Support compliance initiatives aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, or PCI-DSS
Contribute to security hardening standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
3–7 years of experience in network security operations or firewall engineering
Hands-on experience with: Palo Alto NGFW (PA series), Panorama, GlobalProtect
Cisco ASA, Firepower, FMC, site-to-site & remote access VPNs
Strong knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, NAT)
Experience with log analysis, packet capture, and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark)
Understanding of threat prevention technologies (IDS/IPS, URL filtering, DNS security, malware analysis)
Ability to support on-call rotations, weekend changes, and production environments
Preferred
Security certifications such as PCNSE, PCNSA, CCNP Security, CCNA Security, Security+, CySA+, CEH, or GSEC
Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar)
Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Scripting or automation experience (Ansible, Python, PowerShell)
