The role involves supporting a mission-focused customer during the full life-cycle development of a Radio Frequency Processing System, with responsibilities including software design, debugging, and system maintenance.

Responsibilities
Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Debug existing software and correct defects using a variety of programming languages (Examples: Java,Python, Rust, C++)
Create and maintain a scalable, high-availability, mission system using modern system design principles
Create docker containers and/or Kubernetes pods and clusters
Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
Generate automation scripts as appropriate to improve workflow and efficiency

Qualification
Required
Twenty (20) years of experience as a software developer
Experience developing with multiple programming languages (Java, Rust, Golang, etc.)
Polygraph in the last 7 years (CI or FS)
Preferred
Experience developing RF systems or components in an enterprise setting
Experience with Kubernetes
