Sr Process Engineer
Cypress HCM is seeking a Sr Process Engineer to support the transfer of manufacturing processes from engineering development into production. The role involves developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, establishing validation criteria, and providing engineering support to troubleshoot production issues.

Responsibilities
Support transfer of manufacturing processes from engineering development into production
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes using Design of Experiments (DOE)
Establish validation and verification criteria for new processes and products
Create, update, and maintain detailed documentation related to production processes and equipment
Provide engineering support to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities
Evaluate new product designs for manufacturability and recommend improvements
Identify and prioritize opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement
Apply methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, DFSS, and related tools to drive process improvements
Develop compliant engineering documentation including Master Validation Plans, process FMEAs, equipment installation qualifications (IQ), operational qualifications (OQ), and performance qualifications (PQ)
Support daily production operations to meet schedules and quality objectives
Maintain safe work practices and comply with all environmental and safety procedures
Follow cleanroom protocols where required
Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate issues, gain approvals, and resolve problems
Comply with applicable quality system and regulatory requirements
Contribute to team objectives and departmental goals
Communicate effectively across all organizational levels
Protect confidential and proprietary information
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field
5–10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and technical documentation tools
Preferred
Experience in materials science
Experience with microelectronic or semiconductor manufacturing processes
