Responsibilities

Download, process, edit, and troubleshoot collected sensor data while in the field
Set up and operate ground GPS base stations and flight planning
Sensor and Equipment Maintenance: Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sensor equipment on the ground and in flight
Ensure safe and secure use of company equipment
Reporting: Complete field logs as required

Required

Desire to learn and be involved in a dynamic operational team
Understanding of computer hardware
Understanding of Geographic Information Systems
U.S. citizenship
Must have valid U.S. passport and be willing to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as necessary
Willingness and ability to undergo pre-employment verification and drug screening
Willingness and ability to work a rotational schedule from 30 to 90 days travel with 20 or more days off
High School Diploma and/or G.E.D. and/or related experience
Strong working knowledge of geomatics and mapping concepts (academic and/or professional)
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals

Preferred

Land Survey experience is a plus
Experience with bathymetric or hydrographic data is a plus
Experience with the following: Leica LSS, MisssionPro, MicroStation, ArcGIS, Qimera, and Global Mapper, QINSy, HYPACK, Edgetech Discover, TerraSolid, and SonarWiz
Working knowledge of aerial acquisition systems preferred
Ability to provide excellent customer service preferred
Previous Land Surveying experience a plus
