IT Analyst II
The University of Florida is seeking an IT Analyst II who will provide IT assistance and support, manage training for the user community, and maintain operations of applications. The role involves working closely with customers and developers to ensure the timely delivery of accurate products while maintaining data integrity and security.

Responsibilities
Provides IT assistance and support, provides programming expertise, manages training to user community, and maintains daily operation of vendor supported and in-house developed applications with appropriate security measures to ensure a high degree of data integrity, accuracy and availability
Works closely with customers and other developers to ensure timely delivery of accurate products that demonstrate consistent attention to detail
Identifies target audiences and their needs
Creates project plan, budget, and timeline
Tracks project activities, deliverables and timelines
Creates and implement communication plan, evaluation and testing plan, roll-out plan
Maintains familiarity with information technologies associated with application development, documentation methodologies, tools, products and languages employed in support of the UF Health IT mission
Provides training, documents procedures and creates troubleshooting documentation to help provide the best user experience for select applications
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience
Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience
Ability to develop, maintain and improve high-quality software applications which demonstrate a high degree of data integrity, accuracy and availability is required
Must be able to test and implement applications with appropriate security measures in an integrated, complex information technology environment with minimal disruption of network services and resources
Detailed understanding of structured query language (SQL) is required
Familiarity with software products used to create reports and manage enterprise data is required
Familiarity with, or a demonstrated ability to acquire sufficient knowledge needed to effectively work with products and to perform actions in systems and environments to the extent necessary to facilitate creation, deployment and maintenance of software applications is required
Ability to analyze, determine causative issues, resolve technical challenges and report effectively at a level commensurate with the position is required
Must formulate solutions collaboratively and effectively in a team setting
Must be able to organize and manage complex activities and to complete assignments in a timely fashion with attention to detail and accuracy with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written, American English)
An ability to effectively coordinate efforts among customers, IT professionals and other support staff is required
Must proactively foster skills development among team members
