They are seeking an IT Sourcing Manager to lead complex RFx events for indirect products and services, manage category strategy, and support internal stakeholders in the Enterprise Procurement department.

Responsibilities
Execute and lead a variety of complex, high-value, high visibility sourcing events in support of category
Support development of category plans, pipeline, and other category materials
Manage expiring contract process to support pipeline development for category
Work with Sourcing Category Managers to develop the strategy and approach for each RFx event
Organize and lead effective meetings with internal stakeholder and external suppliers
As appropriate, delegate RFx events and tasks to Sourcing Analysts and provide guidance to ensure successful execution
Conduct market research that supports negotiation strategies and award decisions for each sourcing event
Compile scope of work and requirements, analyze and evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate final commercial terms
Develop and confidently present analysis - both quantitative and qualitative - to Procurement and Business leadership to obtain approval to award business
Effectively communicate and demonstrate Strategic Sourcing's value proposition to internal business partners/stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience related to Sourcing & Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Analytics, Technology or Project Management
Ability to travel up to 15% for supplier presentations, site visits, and key department meetings
Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Economics, Supply-Chain, Finance, Accounting Technology or a in a related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
Preferred
Possess a strong business acumen and high level of problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to confidently and expertly interact with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical ability, strategic thinker, learn and process new information quickly
Ability to quickly capture, analyze, and summarize large data sets
Strong organization and project management skills
Shown ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision, while paying strong attention to detail and follow-up
Intellectually curious, eager to gain new experiences, qualifications, and responsibilities
Negotiation Skills / Experience
Vendor Management / Consolidation Experience
Experience with electronic sourcing platforms, such as Ariba eSourcing, is a plus
MBA or Master's Degree in a related field of study is a plus
