Responsibilities
Act as a consultative partner to business stakeholders, proactively soliciting requirements and identifying opportunities where technology can enable efficiency and insight
Develop a strong understanding of Private Equity investment workflows, fund operations, and related regulatory and investor obligations
Collaborate closely with the Director to prioritize requests and align solutions with strategic goals
Demonstrate solutions, clearly articulating value, tradeoffs, and implementation approaches
Design, build, and maintain data solutions that automate recurring business processes
Develop and optimize solutions using Azure SQL, Power Query, and related data tools
Support reporting and analytics initiatives through clean, reliable, and well-structured data pipelines
Partner with vendors or internal teams to implement automation platforms such as Power Automate, Monday.com, Workato, and Power BI
Experiment with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to identify practical, scalable use cases
Assess feasibility, limitations, and risks of AI-driven solutions, escalating mature ideas to specialized tools or applications when appropriate
Promote responsible, compliant, and business-aligned use of AI across workflows
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data engineering, automation, or business-facing technical roles
Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL) and data transformation tools
Hands-on experience with business process automation platforms (Power Automate, Workato, Monday.com, or similar)
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Comfort working directly with senior stakeholders in a consultative capacity
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred
Experience supporting Private Equity, asset management, or financial services environments
Familiarity with regulatory and investor reporting considerations
Experience supporting or enabling Power BI reporting
Exposure to AI/ML tools in an enterprise or operational context
