Learning & Development Specialist
Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties is one of the largest Habitat affiliates in the country, dedicated to generating a lasting impact on affordable homeownership in the Puget Sound. They are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design and deliver programs that strengthen leadership capability, employee growth, and organizational effectiveness, aligned with their mission and values.

Responsibilities
Design, facilitate, and continuously improve learning programs aligned with organizational priorities, leadership expectations, and culture
Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to design role-based new hire training
Lead the Quarterly New Hire Immersion Experience and support the employee onboarding experience to ensure strong and consistent experience
Design, implement and maintain scalable succession planning framework for key roles
Support managers in creating and tracking individual development plans (IDPs) aligned with succession goals
Collaborate with managers to address skill gaps and development priorities
Manage the Learning Management System (Paycom Learning), including overseeing content, completion tracking and reporting
Oversee Professional Development Fund and Training Hours and partner with department heads to support high utilization
Plan, coordinate and host Lunch & Learn sessions, ensuring recordings and resources are accessible on HomeBase
Regularly review and update training content based on feedback, performance outcomes, and process changes
Support career development initiatives and learning pathways across the organization
Provide operational and backup support to the People & Culture team as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field
Minimum three (3) years of experience in learning & development, talent development, organizational development, or succession planning
Experience designing and facilitating training for adult learners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams
Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred
Experience working in a nonprofit environment
