Responsibilities
Provide expert technical support to facility maintenance teams on all electrical and electronic issues
Diagnose, test, and troubleshoot PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, and control systems
Write, modify, and optimize PLC programs
Create and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation
Conduct regular arc-flash studies and ensure proper labeling and documentation across all facilities
Analyze electrical components and systems to improve reliability and reduce risk of failures, overloads, and improper installations
Support specialized controls, instrumentation, and measurement systems
Recommend components, vendors, and technical solutions for capital and improvement projects
Lead and support projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
Collaborate with equipment suppliers to define proper specifications and maintenance requirements
Conduct R&D investigations to improve equipment, processes, and system performance
Drive predictive and preventive maintenance improvements across all electrical systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
3+ years' experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CAD, AC/DC drives, PLC logic, and industrial electrical systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, and AutoCAD
Comfortable troubleshooting foreign (Italian/German) production machinery and reading complex schematics
Solid background in Lean Manufacturing, manufacturing electrical engineering, and multi-facility controls support
Strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving ability, and ability to travel frequently
