Administrative Specialist I (Temporary)
The NC Office of State Human Resources is seeking a temporary Administrative Specialist I to support the Department of Health & Human Services. The role involves administrative tasks such as managing communications, processing applications, and maintaining electronic files.

Responsibilities
Sending out surveys, scanning & verifying non-disclosed files
Answering multi-line phones
Creating electronic files, merging files using Adobe Pro
Creating and sending certified packets to providers for administrative actions
Communicate through phone and email
Reviewing, processing, & submitting initial, change, and renewal applications
Processing the closure of licenses
Sending & receiving faxes for surveyors & upper management
Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, copier/scan/fax machine
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, copier/scan/fax machine

Preferred
Must be able to establish and maintain working relationships with others and carry out general instructions, both written and oral
Strong ability to proofread and pay close attention to details
Strong data entry skills with the ability to work in multiple databases with accuracy while using Access, Excel, and Outlook
The ability to handle multiple tasks and respond cordially and effectively to phone calls and emails
