Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements
Translate requirements into functional specifications
Ensure end-to-end quality through robust test strategies, automation, and UAT coordination
Work in Agile delivery for distributed teams
Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops
Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria
Maintain and prioritize backlog; collaborate with UX and engineering
Support sprint ceremonies and manage requirement changes
Drive UAT planning and execution
Define and implement test strategy for features/releases
Design and execute test plans, cases, and automation scripts (UI & API)
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
Perform functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing
Manage defect lifecycle and ensure traceability
Mentor junior QA team members
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience: 6–10 years combined in BA and QA
Core Skills: Requirements elicitation, user stories, acceptance criteria, process modeling
Core Skills: Test strategy, planning, functional & integration testing, automation frameworks
Core Skills: Agile/Scrum, backlog management, sprint ceremonies
Tools: JIRA/Azure DevOps, Confluence, TestRail/Zephyr, Selenium, Postman, RestAssured
Additional: SDLC, APIs, data flows, integration patterns
Preferred
Nice to Have: Cloud (AWS/Azure), performance/security testing, CBAP, ISTQB, PSM certifications
