Responsibilities
Create accurate and detailed shop and field drawings for Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metal projects using 3D software
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations
Review project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents to ensure that all details are accurately captured
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure that all project requirements are met
Prepare bill of materials, cut lists, and other project documentation as required
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metal detailing
Strong understanding of structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication processes
Experience with 3D software such as Tekla
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents
