Applications Systems Analyst I-EHRA-Early Career
The N.C. Department of Information Technology (NCDIT) serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC, providing technology services to state agencies. They are seeking an Applications Systems Analyst I for their Early Career Associate Program, which is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals to gain exposure to state IT operations and participate in the maintenance of the enterprise GIS server environment.

Responsibilities
Implementation and testing of OS and Software Patching
Scripting automated deployments using languages like PowerShell
Deployment and configuration of applications
Development and maintenance of CI/CD Pipelines
Participating in status meetings and incident reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution
OR Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business application consulting or development
OR High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of experience in business application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Knowledge of enterprise GIS architecture, software, and implementation
Knowledge of change and release management policies and vulnerability assessment processes
Ability to work independently on tasks using Standard Operating Procedures and other guidelines
