Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management for annuity and life insurance product launches, enhancements, and strategic initiatives
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies
Coordinate execution across actuarial, IT, operations, legal, compliance, finance, and distribution stakeholders
Serve as the primary driver of project governance, including status reporting, milestone tracking, risk escalation, and issue resolution
Ensure product initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with regulatory, operational, and distribution requirements
Proactively identify execution risks, resource constraints, and cross‑initiative dependencies
Drive alignment and accountability across teams with competing priorities
Establish and reinforce standardized project management practices, tools, and delivery rhythms within Product Development
Maintain institutional knowledge, documentation, and lessons learned across the product lifecycle
Support continuous improvement efforts that strengthen execution maturity and delivery consistency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
7+ years of project management experience, preferably within insurance, annuity, life, or financial services environments
Proven experience managing complex, highly regulated, cross-functional initiatives
Strong understanding of insurance product development lifecycles and launch processes
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in matrixed organizations
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
PMP certification preferred
