Summer High School Research Intern - Environmental Assessment
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is a world-class research institution focused on solving the nation’s energy and environmental challenges. They are seeking high school students for a Summer High School Research Internship where interns will learn statistical concepts and work with a scientist/mentor in a specified research area.

Responsibilities
The student will be responsible for learning statistical planning software VSP, including making and exporting maps and sampling plans; preparing outputs of MS Office products Excel, PowerPoint, Word; learning R statistical software and producing outputs
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior in a public or private high school at time of application
Applicants must be 16 years of age by start date
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (from beginning of 9th grade to current standing)
Preferred
Relevant course work: Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus or Calculus
