Responsibilities
Operate and support day-to-day engineering operations of critical data center infrastructure
Monitor, operate, and respond to routine and emergency conditions for:
Electrical distribution, switchgear, generators, and UPS systems
Cooling systems including chillers, cooling towers, and CRAC/CRAH units
Building Monitoring Systems (BMS) and control systems
Perform and support preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures
Identify operational risks, escalate issues appropriately, and support mitigation efforts to maintain high availability
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams during maintenance and project activities
Support commissioning, build-out, and capacity-related projects for new or expanding data center facilities
Track and document operational activities, maintenance work, and system performance metrics
Maintain accurate asset, inventory, and equipment lifecycle records
Provide reliable service and support to internal customers and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
2+ years of hands-on technical or facilities experience supporting Mechanical and/or Electrical systems
2+ years of troubleshooting experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and leadership abilities
High attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment
Preferred
2 years of Data Center Engineering experience
2 years of Data Center Operations or Management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
Fundamental knowledge of: Network design and layout
Fundamental knowledge of: Low-voltage systems, including copper and fiber cabling
