The role requires turning complex requirements into high-performing AV systems and ensuring that solutions meet technical, budgetary, and performance requirements.

Responsibilities
Design complete AV solutions, including BOMs, parts lists, labor estimates, and project quoting
Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings and comprehensive system documentation
Develop and validate AV system designs prior to deployment
Test, commission, and verify systems before client handoff/turnover
Work hands-on with DSP and control platforms such as QSC/Q-SYS, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, and similar technologies
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended
Ensure solutions meet technical, budgetary, and performance requirements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in AV system design and documentation (not just installation or support)
Strong background creating BOMs, drawings, and technical documentation
Experience with DSP platforms such as QSC/Q-SYS, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, etc
Comfortable owning projects from design through commissioning and turnover
