They are seeking a senior-level business development professional with strong industry relationships to generate new business opportunities and support the company's growth in the energy market.
Utilities
Responsibilities
Leverage existing relationships with utilities, renewable developers, ISOs/RTOs, EPCs, and industrial clients to generate new business opportunities
Identify and pursue projects related to:
Power system studies (load flow, short circuit, transient studies, dynamic studies, etc.)
Power system design, P &C
Grid interconnection studies
Renewable energy and BESS integration
Transmission & distribution studies
Lead client introductions, early-stage discussions, and opportunity qualification
Support proposal strategy, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations
Act as a strategic advisor on market positioning, service offerings, and growth strategy
Represent the company in industry discussions, conferences, and professional networks (as needed)
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in the power & energy sector
Strong, demonstrable relationships with utilities
Strong, demonstrable relationships with renewable energy developers
Strong, demonstrable relationships with ISOs / RTOs (e.g., PJM, ERCOT, MISO, CAISO, IESO, etc.)
Strong, demonstrable relationships with EPC firms or large industrial energy users
Solid understanding of power system studies and grid interconnection processes
Proven track record of bringing in projects, clients, or partnerships
Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset
Comfortable working in a startup / growth-oriented environment
Candidates must be based in the United States or Canada
