Senior Mechanical Engineer & Project Manager

Responsibilities
Conceptual Design: Develop mechanical system design concept in line with project requirements and industry standards
Quality Control: Ensure mechanical systems are designed to meet client requirements, company standards, and integrate seamlessly with other MEP systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Site Surveys: Conduct on-site surveys and assessments to gather data, evaluate existing conditions, and inform system design and coordination
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients, architects, and other engineering professionals to develop customized solutions
Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost constraints
Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to design engineers, ensuring quality work
Technical Support: Provide timely responses to the team and clients during the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and final delivery
Code Compliance: Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant local codes, regulations, and standards
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, reports, and drawings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in MEP consulting
Proficient in HVAC design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Energy Pro, or similar tools)
Knowledge of mechanical systems including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, etc
Strong understanding of building codes and standards
Familiarity with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient solutions
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing technical, time, and budgetary constraints
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize mechanical systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with clients, team members, and stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
Plumbing expertise would be ideal
