Responsibilities

Provide expert technical guidance and support to engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders
Act as a subject matter expert in specific technology domains
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations
Communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences
Monitor both in-sourced and outsourced teams and activities in conjunction with contract management
Perform ITIL-based processes including incident, problem, change, configuration management, asset Management, major incident management, and entry into service
Contribute to annual capacity planning and budget management for managed products

Required

Must have or be able to obtain UK Eyes Only SC/DV Security Clearance via the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) process
Occasional travel to Stevenage & Portsmouth
Strong Technical & Supplier Management skills
Good understanding of one or more technologies required with the ability to learn the fundamentals of all assigned products whilst abiding by ITIL best practices
Technical Support and Consultation: Provide expert technical guidance and support to engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders
Act as a subject matter expert in specific technology domains
Strong technical skills and experience: Specifically IT Products such as NetApp, Veeam, HPE Servers & ESXi
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations
Communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences
Monitor both in-sourced and outsourced teams and activities in conjunction with contract management
Perform ITIL-based processes including incident, problem, change, configuration management, asset Management, major incident management, and entry into service
Contribute to annual capacity planning and budget management for managed products
Experience in a technical role within the aerospace, defence, or a highly regulated technology-driven industry
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Previous experience working in a product based delivery model
ITIL accredited with workplace experience
Experience in Contract management
