CNC Machinist

Responsibilities
Operate equipment such as CNC machines, milling machines, and end mills to produce manufactured parts primarily out of aluminum and titanium
Take measurements to adequately ensure the accurate set-up, with the use of tools such as; gauges, calipers, indicators and micrometers
Maintains specifications by observing drilling and cutting; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
Set up and trouble shoot 5-axis machines for large complex parts
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification from an accredited technical college a plus
Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible milling experience, aerospace industry is a plus
Possess basic math and geometry knowledge with elementary knowledge of engineering principals helpful
Be able to read blue prints, follow work order and verbal instructions
Must have recent experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls
