Responsibilities
Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy following dealership and factory standards
Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
Road tests vehicles when required
Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, etc
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events
Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must Have a Valid driver's license
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
Ensure customer's cars are kept clean and treated with respect
Must be a helpful team player
Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
Advanced knowledge of automobiles
Good communication
Basic Computer
Ability to learn new technology
