Senior Manager, IT Program Management

SomaLogic is a company focused on transforming healthcare through innovative life science research tools and clinical products. They are seeking a Senior Manager, IT Program Management to lead multiple programs across the organization, with a specific focus on information security, data privacy, and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate SomaLogic’s Information Security, Data Privacy, and Compliance initiatives (e.g. ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR, CPRA, etc.)
Assist in developing plans and goals to support the strategic direction of the business from an Information Security and Data Privacy perspective
Coordinate the execution of information security audits and questionnaires from customers
Assist with planning and executing projects in compliance with IT governance processes and procedures; managing (e.g., tracking, updating, reviewing) dashboards and reports
Analyze work product progress and communicate objective reporting of project status to all levels of the organization
Work with stakeholders across the organization to manage project backlog and sprint prioritization
Assist project teams with managing sprints and facilitating standup meetings
Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
Perform business analyst activities as needed, including mapping business processes and gathering requirements
Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved
Coordinate diverse perspectives from various stakeholders to produce high quality project results
Own and drive projects and programs with multiple stakeholders, cross-functional requirements, and senior level executives
Communicate and present to all levels of the organization, including executives
Coordinate cross-project activities, and identify, communicate, and mitigate cross-stream risks, issues, dependencies
Assist in defining and implementing best practice standards and governance across programs
Recommend options or solutions that meet project stakeholder needs and desired outcomes; validates solutions with subject matter experts
Define the overall goals of projects and communicates goals to stakeholders
Provide consultation to projects in tailoring of governance and program/project reviews
Ability to recognize and drive mitigation and escalations on risks and issues throughout a project’s lifecycle
Manage all project/program documentation

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or other technology-related majors
Minimum 10 years of IT and Information Security program and project management experience
Proven accomplishments and experience in Information Technology and Information Security Program Management experience
Demonstrated mastery of Project Management methodology, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
Experience managing compliance programs for cybersecurity and privacy
Solid understanding of technology and cybersecurity terminology and concepts
Experience with Incident Command/Incident Response
Ability to think creatively, problem solve, and work with others to find the best solution
Able to adapt and operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
Precision in your work and attention to all details
Self-starter and ability to work with little guidance, while supporting a collaborative team environment
Experience preparing executive level materials and presenting to executive level
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred

PMP and Agile Certification
Working knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and other NIST cybersecurity-related guidance
Experience with HIPAA/PHI/PII data protection controls desired
Experience in life sciences or healthcare vertical industries
Proficient in JIRA, ServiceNow, MS Office Suite, Visio, and MS Project
Interest in learning new skills and keeping pace with changing technologies
