Responsibilities
Engineer Resilience: Architect ultra-high reliability and fault tolerance for mission-critical clearing systems operating under the world’s most stringent regulatory demands
Eliminate Toil: Eradicate operational friction by driving radical automation across the system lifecycle, implementing self-healing solutions that preemptively neutralize incidents
Collaborative Building: Partner with development teams to bake SRE principles directly into the SDLC, ensuring high-volume financial applications are robust from the first line of code
Master Observability: Champion cutting-edge observability and performance testing standards using OpenTelemetry and Prometheus to diagnose complex bottlenecks before they impact the market
Strategic Leadership: Navigate complex environment deployments and release cycles, setting the gold standard for design patterns and governance across the portfolio
Qualification
Required
Deep hands-on experience deploying IaaS and PaaS solutions, specifically within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Proficiency in Java, Python, and Go
Expert-level command of Terraform and configuration management tools like Chef to maintain immutable infrastructure
A rigorous understanding of both Linux and Windows internals, including performance tuning and kernel-level troubleshooting
The ability to weave security and regulatory frameworks into a high-speed CI/CD pipeline without sacrificing velocity
A disciplined approach to root cause analysis and a proven ability to mentor others in the SRE mindset
Preferred
A background in Typescript or Rust is a significant advantage for our evolving stack
