Advocate Training Coordinator -Senior Advocate
California Resource Services for Independent Living (CRS) creates and implements programs tailored to the needs of the disability community. They are seeking an Advocate Training Coordinator - Senior Advocate to plan, develop, and deliver advocate training programs while supporting advocacy efforts for Seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities
Conduct intake and develop Independent Living Plans (ILPs)
Coordinate housing, benefits, and support services
Provide advocacy, peer support, and skills training
Collaborate with staff and community partners
Maintain records and assist with reports and outreach
Qualification
Required
Experience in program coordination, training development, and facilitation
Strong advocacy, public speaking, and communication skills
Proficiency in organizing and managing administrative tasks and documentation processes
Knowledge of disability rights, accessibility laws, and available community resources
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and foster inclusivity
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Office and virtual communication tools
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
Experience working within nonprofit organizations or with individuals with disabilities is a plus
Bilingual a plus
