They are seeking a Swiss CNC Turning Programmer–Setup Specialist to program and set up CNC Swiss turning lathes, deliver quality parts, and mentor team members while influencing machine purchases and documenting processes.

Responsibilities

Program and set up 2-axis and live-tooling lathes (primary focus: CNC Swiss turning) using Esprit

Deliver quality prototype and production parts, then transition stable processes to machine operators

Influence new machine purchases and assist with quoting new work

Document processes: write instruction sheets and detailed tool lists

Coach, train, and oversee machinists/operators as the team expands — a clear path toward leadership

Collaborate daily with the Production Manager, Quality, and operators to remove bottlenecks

Required

5+ years programming (Esprit, Mastercam, etc.), setup, operation, and on-the-fly edits

Proven ability to build and scale a department

Fluency reading customer and engineering drawings/prints

Hands-on use of micrometers, calipers, and indicators

Strong communication skills across all levels of the shop
