AV Technician I (OPS)
The University of South Florida Libraries is seeking an AV Technician I to support AV services primarily at the MDD downtown Tampa building. The role involves troubleshooting AV issues, maintaining equipment inventory, and coordinating AV-related events and services.
Higher Education
Responsibilities
Support: Real-time troubleshooting and resolution of AV issues in support of teaching/learning and presentation spaces
Equipment Inventory: Monitors and maintains active inventory database for tracking, audit and compliance- adding and editing entries where needed
Scheduling/ Logistics: Coordinates with other departments, colleges and external vendors on scheduling events, services, training and other AV-related needs
Other: Performs other duties within IT/AV Services, as determined by supervisor; participates in professional development activities as appropriate
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Five years of directly related experience
Appropriate vocational/technical training or college coursework may substitute at an appropriate rate for the required experience
