Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair low‑voltage systems in commercial settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Install and program low‑voltage systems including:
Telecommunications equipment
Security systems
Audio and video systems
Troubleshoot wiring, connectivity, and system performance issues
Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials
Provide professional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Qualification
Required
1+ year of commercial low‑voltage experience
Proven experience running and terminating Cat5/Cat6 cabling
Experience punching down to blocks and patch panels
Must be local to Nashville, TN
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of experience installing low‑voltage systems in commercial environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Dependable with a proven record of punctuality
Strong attention to detail
Growth mindset and solid work ethic
Preferred
Associate degree or technical certification
