Director, Revenue Cycle Oversight - Pain Management
ECAA - Anesthesia Specialists is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Oversight in Pain Management. This role is responsible for overseeing revenue cycle operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance, and driving improvements in financial outcomes and patient experience.

Responsibilities
Setting clear performance expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the RCM company
Regularly reviewing and evaluating the RCM company’s processes and outcomes
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Facilitating effective communication and partnership between the RCM company and internal stakeholders
Identifying opportunities for process optimization and innovation
Reporting on the RCM company’s performance to senior leadership and recommending strategic adjustments as needed
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for management and staff questions
Create and maintain a harmonious work environment through positive communication, feedback, mentoring, and coaching
Support of internal and external auditors
Proactive identification of simplification/automation opportunities
Organization and support in the training of new hires
Implement action plans to enhance customer experience and team performance
Keep the corporation abreast of performance trends or concerns that impact operations
Maintain an appropriate work environment and facility cleanliness
Provide communication and training to ensure staff are fully informed about all new processes and procedures, customer needs, and company-related issues
Generate reports for the executive team on concerns, trends, and the overall financial health of the company
Communication and training with the provider team on billing and coding information
Working and assisting with mainstream forms and communication between various offices
Portal website user maintenance and requests
Assist with training, requesting, and auditing preauthorization
Maintain compliance with OIG, CMS, and other insurance payer policies
Creation and maintenance of company dashboards track and monitor financial data and productivity
Creating, maintaining, and updating the department’s standard operating procedures as needed
Working closely with other departments (admin and clinical) to ensure company-wide efficiency and compliance
Assist with contracting with new insurance payers and/or negotiating fee schedules
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's degree in Health Information Services, Business Administration, or a closely related field of study, or 5+ years of revenue cycle management experience, ideally in pain management or specialty care
Experience in healthcare compliance, including coding, auditing, and reimbursement programs
Strong analytical and organizational skills required
In-depth understanding of all state and federal regulations
Knowledge of the complete revenue cycle management model
Strong understanding of medical coding
Strong organizational and people management skills
Solid attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
Proficiency in EMR, Billing, and related systems
Ability to present, communicate initiative, results, and analyses to multiple levels of management
Travel required 25%
Preferred
Knowledge of third-party clinical billing, contractual and compliance regulations, along with a demonstrated understanding of automated processes, electronic data interchange, and related operational processes is preferred
Knowledge of how to obtain authorizations with insurance companies
