InternA Igreja de Jesus Cristo dos Santos dos Últimos Dias is seeking a Paid Intern for YA Weekly Design to contribute to the design and production of articles for Church magazines aimed at young adults. The intern will be mentored in various aspects of design, working 40 hours a week for a 4-month period, and may have the opportunity to work from home.

The YA Weekly design intern participates in the ideation, design and production of multiple articles for Church print and digital magazines for a young adult audience
The intern is mentored in all aspects of design, including observation, collaboration, visualization, conceptualization, art direction, and implementation
Qualification
Required
Candidates should exhibit a love for clean, impactful design
You need to show excellence in editorial design, visual communication, and production for print
Be proficient in the use of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Applicants for this internship must be working toward a degree in graphic design, advertising, or have taken classes in graphic design
Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, or must have recently finished a degree from an accredited college or university (within one year of beginning their internship)
Applicants must be available for video conference interviews
A love for all aspects of design
At least one year of college-level graphic design experience
Willingness to listen to and learn from your peers
Experience in editorial design and production
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Basic understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, and policy
The ability to manage many projects simultaneously
The ability to give careful attention to detail and sustain concentration for long periods of time
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
