Responsibilities

Build and grow a portfolio of client relationships within accounting & finance, serving as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional recruiter
Proactively identify new business opportunities through strategic outreach, referrals, networking, and internal collaboration
Lead intake meetings with hiring managers and executives to deeply understand business needs, culture, and talent priorities
Partner with leadership to develop market strategy, pricing, and positioning within targeted industries and functions
Maintain long-term client relationships, focusing on repeat business and high-quality outcomes
Source, assess, and recruit accounting and finance professionals across staff through executive-level roles
Conduct in-depth candidate interviews focused on technical skills, leadership capability, and cultural alignment
Coach candidates through the entire process—interview prep, offer negotiation, and onboarding—to ensure a high-touch experience
Manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining quality, urgency, and transparency
Serve as a career advisor, not just a recruiter—helping candidates make thoughtful, long-term decisions

Required

Experience in full-desk recruiting, ideally within accounting, finance, or professional services a plus
Previous B2B sales or relationship-driven experience translates extremely well into this opportunity
Strong business development instincts and the confidence to pick up the phone and build relationships
Consultative mindset with the ability to influence both clients and candidates
Competitive, self-driven, and metrics-aware—but collaborative and team-oriented at the core
Someone who takes pride in doing things the right way and representing the CFS brand well
