Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of claim type, diagnosis codes, place of service, procedure codes, proper use of modifiers, and dates of service, etc
Submits claims for all payers including but not limited to: Medicaid, government programs, private and Medicare for health center. Resolves all insurance inquiries
Timely submission of both electronic and paper claims
Other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare business setting or billing role
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
