Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is a multi-disciplined civil engineering firm offering various services. They are looking for a Civil Engineering Intern - Structural to support their structural-bridge team by contributing to projects and engaging with the team.

Under supervision, the intern will assist in structural engineering to support a variety of design projects

Required

Must be a full or part time student seeking a degree in Structural – Bridge focus within Civil Engineering

Knowledge of Civil Engineering fundamentals, surveying, drafting, and general civil engineering design (structural - bridge) /construction practices

Ability to assist in the field or on job sites

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment

Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new concepts

Preferred

Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation

Ability to provide 30 to 40 hours per week
