IT Applications System Analyst

They are seeking an IT Applications System Analyst responsible for supporting business applications, resolving application issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve system performance.

Responsibilities
Provide first- and second-level support for assigned business applications, including troubleshooting and resolving user issues
Assist with documenting requirements, workflows, and functional specifications
Perform basic system configuration, data updates, and testing activities
Work with vendors or senior analysts to coordinate software updates, patches, and enhancements
Develop user documentation and assist with training efforts
Participate in change, incident, and request management processes
Maintain data integrity through routine audits and error correction
Support integration and testing of new modules or functionality
Occasional travel to plant sites may be required for support (~ 10%)
Some after-hours support may be required for support or system changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-4 years of experience supporting business applications, help desk, or IT systems
Basic understanding of databases, reporting tools, and data structures
Exposure to project or system lifecycle processes (requirements, testing, deployment)
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Eagerness to learn and grow technical knowledge
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Customer service mindset with attention to detail
Team-oriented, dependable, and adaptable
Preferred
Familiarity with SQL or data query tools
Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, Point of Sale (POS))
Understanding of ITIL or IT service management principles
