Responsibilities

Troubleshoot licensing-related issues in coordination with IT support teams
Review and maintain accurate license counts and entitlement records
Reach out to internal customers to gather software needs, usage details, and quantity requirements
Enter, update, and maintain software asset and license data in licensing management system
Ensure software asset records remain accurate and up to date across the organization
Communicate with stakeholders to provide licensing status, updates, and request support
Collaborate with IT and cross functional teams to support software procurement
Prepare licensing documentation and reports to support renewals, audits, and contract reviews
Review software licenses and coordinate with internal teams to identify unused or underused licenses
Provide day to day operational support for software asset management and request fulfillment

Required

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Experience working in an IT or Technology environment
Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, IF statements, and macros
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs

Preferred

Proficiency in software license management tools and enterprise software agreements
Basic understanding of major software vendors, particularly Microsoft
Proficiency with Software Asset Management (SAM) tools, especially Flexera
Experience using ServiceNow for asset tracking and workflow management
Industry certification from the International Association of IT Asset Managers (IAITAM), such as Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
Experience in technology procurement, contract review, and enterprise software management
