Responsibilities
Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing throughout the entire production process
Execute current gage calibration program
Audit fabrication departments through assembly area to ensure proper operations
Conduct quality inspection and quality audits and isolate product that does not meet standards
Process Returned Material Authorization (RMA) items
Know how to uses gages such as calipers, micrometers etc to confirm dimensional accuracy
Process nonconforming material reports
Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, or equivalent, required; 2- year degree preferred
1 - 3 year's prior production/manufacturing experience
Ability to reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints, GD&T
Hands on experience with electronic and mechanical inspection equipment: Calipers, Micrometers, Height stands, Gage blocks/Pin gages, Thread gages, etc
Strong analytical skills, generate graphs and charts
Strong Root Cause Analysis, 8D problem solving
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred
ISO 9001, TS16949 experience a preferred
