Quality Program Manager

Grande Ronde Hospital is seeking a Quality Program Manager to facilitate the development, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan. Responsibilities

Facilitates the development, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance
Serves as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on performance improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards
Assists with survey readiness, conducting internal audits, tracers, focused standards assessment, mock surveys, and other activities to maintain hospital licensure and accreditation
Coordinates and facilitates performance improvement teams to support clinical quality improvement initiatives and key organizational goals
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to implement improvement projects that enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and compliance
Facilitates meetings, presents data and reports, identifies key findings, and assists with action plans and implementation, including preparing summaries for the Performance Improvement Committee, Board Quality Committee, and other leadership groups
Supports the Patient Safety Specialist to administer Culture of Safety surveys, analyze results, and develop action plans for performance improvement
Provides education and training to staff and leadership on performance improvement initiatives, CMS Conditions of Participation, The Joint Commission accreditation, and other regulatory requirements
Maintains and updates policies and procedures related to healthcare quality to ensure alignment with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
Analyzes performance metrics and data to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and guide quality improvement initiatives
Supports a culture of continuous improvement and patient safety, promoting adherence to evidence-based practices and organizational quality standards
Partners with performance improvement program managers, specialists, and infection prevention team members to support organizational goals and maintain continuity of departmental operations

Required

Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field required
At least three (3) years of clinical patient care experience required
Credential as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Healthcare Quality and Management Certification (HCQM), or Certificate of Professional Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety (CPQPS) required within two (2) years of hire

Preferred

Experience in clinical effectiveness or clinical quality improvement preferred
