Responsibilities
Lead project teams for capital projects across multiple sites
Manage full project lifecycle: estimates, planning, initiation, execution, and deployment
Ensure project alignment with strategic objectives, managing scope, resources, and timelines
Chair project management team meetings, track dependencies, and resolve issues
Participate in feasibility studies, vendor selection, and proposals evaluation
Define Statements of Work and specifications for goods and services
Monitor, track, and report on project milestones, deliverables, risks, and critical paths
Apply process safety management practices including Risk Assessments, HAZOPs, MOCs, PSSRs, LOPA, and SIS implementation
Qualification
Required
BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Chemical preferred)
15–20 years hands-on experience in capital project management at chemical manufacturing facilities
Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages
Strong technical and data analysis skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to learn and apply new chemistries and processes
