Compliance Analyst I

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking a Compliance Analyst I to join their team in Cypress, CA. The Compliance Analyst will support compliance management programs, coordinate licensing filings, and assist with the development of compliance-related programs and processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate licensing filings and deliverables to ensure required licenses are filed with necessary documentation on a timely basis
Assist with the development of compliance-related programs and processes
Support second-line monitoring and testing program
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the operations/business units to help develop and update policies and operating procedures. Provide support in maintaining policies and procedures library
Support administration of the compliance training program and any ad hoc training efforts
Assist with analyzing consumer complaints to reach an appropriate resolution
Analyze data and reports to identify compliance gaps related to operational processes
Assist with department projects, due diligence efforts, and corrective action plans as requested
Monitor legal/regulatory changes and provide advisory support to operations/business units with implementation of new/changing requirements
Maintain files and records: Provide support to compile information requested for exams/audits and testing: Assist in preparing documents and reports as requested
Other compliance-related administrative duties as requested

Required

High school degree or equivalent required; AA or bachelor's degree with emphasis in Communications, English, preferred
1+ years of compliance-related experience at a financial institution or equivalent work experience in a related field will also be considered
Proficiency in MS Office-Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Knowledge of federal and consumer financial regulations governing the consumer finance industry. Familiarity with TILA, ECOA, FCRA, FDCPA, UDAAP, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA a plus
Ability to draft meaningful reports
Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver quality results in a timely manner
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
