Electronics Technician - Instrumentation Lab: Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities

Work from drawings and procedures to install and wire strain gages
Work independently from drawings to fabricate electronic circuits and wiring harness assemblies
Operate basic test equipment including, DMM, oscilloscope, and function generator
Properly handle and safeguard critical test components

Required

Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience—such as a high school diploma (or equivalent) plus two years of electronics experience
Understanding of strain gages and/or other similar electronic sensors used in testing
Familiarity with reading engineering drawings, transducer installation and calibration, or DC circuit troubleshooting
Must be certified (J-STD) or otherwise have solder skills
Willingness to work in a team environment with customers and with other functional disciplines
Significant travel, shift work, and overtime may be required based on business needs
Able to lift 50 pounds and work on scaffolding (aircraft parts in the lab)
Have own set of hand tools & ability to use effectively
