Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of multiple field crews and office technicians
Oversee QA/QC, budgets, schedules, and client expectations
Conduct roadway and utility corridor surveys in coordination with VDOT and local municipalities
Support regional business growth through proposals and client development
Mentor and coach staff through performance planning and one-on-one sessions
Qualification
Required
Active PLS license (Professional Land Surveyor)
12+ years of land surveying experience, including 5+ years supervising multiple crews
Extensive experience with DOT and municipal civil projects
Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local survey regulations
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Subsurface utility locating/designating experience
Experience with LiDAR, aerial mapping, or sUAS operations
Bachelor's degree in surveying or civil technology
