InternThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Paid Intern for their digital messaging team focused on Church magazines. The role involves creating content for digital channels aimed at children, including social media and newsletters, while providing opportunities for writing and editing articles.

Responsibilities
Creating content for the Church’s digital channels for children, including Instagram, Facebook, and email newsletters
Finding and editing user generated content
Planning and creating posts for social media pages
Filming and editing videos for social reels
Writing copy for captions and email newsletter content
Assisting with scheduling in a social media management platform
Editing and writing magazine articles for children
Helping plan an awareness campaign
Participating in all aspects of the publication process
Qualification
Required
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, or have recently finished a degree from an accredited college or university (within one year of beginning their internship)
Available for video interviews if selected as finalists
At least one semester of college-level editing or writing experience, such as for a literary journal, in a writing lab, on a newspaper staff, or as a professor's assistant
Strong writing, revising, copyediting, and proofreading skills
Sound understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, and policy
The ability to manage many projects simultaneously
The ability to give careful attention to detail, sustain concentration for long periods of time, and maintain the highest level of accuracy
The ability to work well with people and present an image of professionalism
