Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver business-critical solutions
Facilitate discussions to gather, analyze, and document business and user-level requirements
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications
Manage requirements traceability and change control processes
Support system conversion activities, including data validation and issue tracking
Coordinate with technology partners to test incoming data files from external broker systems
Validate data loads into test and production environments
Prepare for and support live conversion events
Log, track, and escalate defects and issues to appropriate technology teams
Participate in UAT planning, execution, and reporting
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts
Support implementation checkout and post-production validation
Develop and maintain procedural documentation, user guides, and operational manuals
Identify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies and communicate status to project leadership
Qualification
Required
Strong ability to listen, analyze, and document business and user-level requirements
Experience gathering and documenting UAT requirements
Solid understanding of system conversions, including: Working with technology teams and external partners, Receiving and validating data files from broker/dealer systems, Loading and validating data in test and production systems, Supporting live conversion events, Issue identification, logging, and resolution coordination
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
Financial services industry experience
Preferred
Prior experience leading or supporting system conversions for another financial institution
