Personal Development Manager
Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is focused on supporting the personal growth of its employees. The Personal Development Manager will develop relationships and provide coaching to employees, encouraging personal, spiritual, and character development through various mentoring and team-building initiatives.

Responsibilities
Develop relationships with employees to create freedom to be transparent and honest about areas of one’s life that are opportunities for personal growth
Meet with employees to discuss areas of concern, potential personal growth, spiritual development, or character development. Encourage and coach employees as they follow through in their identified areas of growth
Help employees think through and devise strategies for taking steps to grow in the identified areas of personal development
Engage with employees in regular weekly/bi-weekly/monthly mentoring on specific topics of personal development
Provide prayer opportunities for employees who are interested and support them in times of need
Lead Bible studies and personal growth studies throughout the year in the office and chosen jobsites on topics that are relevant to personal growth. These studies are non-denominational, and participation is voluntary
Create and lead opportunities throughout the year for team building exercises to promote unity and team spirit among the different regions and divisions
Lead a 20-30 minute motivational/inspirational talk to the regional meetings each month/quarter as regional/divisional leaders see fit
Lead devotional/inspirational talks to different groups (Safety, Superintendents, etc...) within the company
Work with senior level management teams on internal relationships and how to best work through areas of difficulty and dysfunction
Visit jobsites during the year to maintain relationships with employees not working in an office location
Provide emotional support for employees enduring emotionally difficult events in life
Qualification
Required
Proven experience working with people in a relationship building/mentoring role (such as ministry, counseling, mentoring, coaching, or teaching)
Experience in mentoring and or spiritual direction at a one-on-one basis and small group level
Excellent communication and listening skills
Ability to be transparent and authentic in relationships
Ability to provide coaching rather than counseling to employees
Ability to walk alongside, rather than advise, people in their daily struggles or conflict
Demonstrated integrity and high character in his/her own personal life
Must have the ability to relate and connect with all levels of the company, both field and office
Ability to speak to a large group

Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Seminary degree preferred but not required
Bilingual capabilities preferred but not required
