QA Analyst Intern - Summer 2026 Semester (April-August, Remote - Canada)

Responsibilities

Maintain and update test cases, test plans, and regression suites for upcoming releases
Execute manual and exploratory testing on our mobile and web apps to ensure new features and bug fixes meet quality standards
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and identify potential issues early
Document, track, and verify defects using our ticket management system
Contribute to release readiness by validating builds and ensuring smooth deployment to production
Participate in team discussions, providing feedback on usability, performance, and overall product quality

Required

Live in Canada
Be full or part-time students with at least one semester of school remaining in their program
Must be attending a Canadian University
Be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or hold refugee status
One or more previous experiences (professional or academic) involving software testing, QA, or debugging
Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset for identifying issues and edge cases
Familiarity with testing concepts, tools, or frameworks (manual or automated)
Proficiency with Git and ticket management software such as Clickup (or similar tools like Jira, Asana, etc.)
Clear written and verbal communication skills to report findings effectively

Preferred

Curiosity about product management and the software development lifecycle
Interest in test automation or scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
Passion for public transit, urbanism, or sustainability
